The Tutoring Center works hard to develop the leadership skills of its tutors by training them to offer excellent tutelage in their subject areas. Due to a lack of academic resources in the New Orleans community as a result of hurricane Katrina, this excellent tutelage will not only be offered to Tulane students, but also to the children of the faculty and staff members of the Tulane community, as well as to the children in the metropolitan New Orleans area.
- Whenever possible, the Center will offer tutoring to the children of faculty and staff members of Tulane University who need extra help.
- Whenever possible, the University provides tutoring to children in the metropolitan New Orleans area who lack their normal educational resources. For more information, please contact Albert Moton, Manager of Employer Relations and Student Employment, at amoten@tulane.edu.
